The weekend was a quiet one, but a lovely one. Despite all the exams coming up in the next week, the weekend wasn't spent on studying, and ironically I went out more than I usually do on weekends. It was well needed. Stumbled upon a foreign chinese movie on the telly called Aftershock, a beautiful tale surrounding the tragic tangshan earthquake in China in 1976. I was absolutely broken hearted by the end of the movie, but it truly made me appreciate life more than anything.
And I think we need little reminders like that, time to time, even when we think we don't need it.
