Kicked off the year with a trip to Adelaide! It was my first time there, and like many who haven't been to Adelaide (tell me I'm not alone here), my first thought was, "what's in Adelaide other than wineries?". Well, the answer? Plenty plenty plenty. Let's see - gorgeous piers, good food, natural attractions that literally makes you swoon ... the list goes on.
Hoping to share more photos with you soon! Until then, some of my favourites there...
▲ Having quality time to share and talk while on the road, a rarity in the inescapable busyness of everyday life.
▲ Found five strands of completely white hair while drying my hair. Um, WHAT. How does this even happen?! (not exactly a favourite, but the shock factor was just too much)
▲ Seeing an older couple holding hands, very much in love.
▲ Had my first ever Thai dinner! I can't take hot and spicy even if my life depended on it, so this is an achievement worth recordingin the Guinness World Records.
▲ Loved the peace and quiet of the city, a contrast to the hustling and bustling Melbourne I'm used to.
▲ Went for a walk by the city's lake at night, and there were locals cycling and jogging like it's the early hours of the day. Except it was not early, it was 10pm. Absolute respect.
It was straight back to work when I got back, but definitely a great way to start the year.
